What is a Penis Soak?

You really wanted to know about the penis soak!

So, firstly a huge thank you and shout out to Joel Camp for gifting me my first penis soak herbal mixture. If you’re wanting to get your own, be sure to hit him up.

A penis soak is akin to a sitz bath whereby you submerge your genitals in warm water to calm down acute inflammation and irritation. Penis soaking adds herbal remedies to the warm water, such as sage, horny goat weed, rose, chamomile, and ginseng. This potent blend of herbs, barks, roots and flowers have both medicinal and magickal properties.

Herbalist James Green, who credits herbalist Cascade Anderson Geller with the practice, says that penis soaks can also be used to avoid passing genital infections back and forth between partners as well as to boost the immune system. Some practitioners even claim that soaking can enlarge the penis.

Preparation includes adding 1 - 2 teaspoons of the herbal mixture per cup, steeping it in boiling water for 3 - 5 minutes like tea, then allow to cool enough to comfortably sit with the penis immersed in the liquid for 10 - 20 mins. If you have a foreskin, you should keep it retracted for the duration of the soak.

Penis soaking (sometimes called Lingam soaking) can have spiritual significance as well as simply being a way to connect to your genitals. We get neck and shoulder massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, go to the gym, do some Yoga, and a whole lot of other self-care practices which help to nourish, replenish, relax, and revitalise our body, but very rarely do we do something specifically for our genitals.

My first ever penis soak was gentle, soothing, meditative and intentional. I speak all the time about giving back to your penis, instead of just taking from it, and this soak definitely felt like I was practicing what I preach. The warm water and beautiful aroma of the herbal blend was pleasant for both my skin and my sense of smell. While the chamomile did go everywhere, a quick pat down with a towel cleaned everything up. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone exploring ways to connect with their cock.
