This episode of The Men, Sex & Pleasure podcast is part 2 of my conversation about pornography. If you haven’t listened to part 1, I would definitely suggest listening to that first as it sets the context for this episode. Previously, I spoke about how we define porn, my position in the porn debate, the difference between mainstream and ethical porn, and some of the common problems the porn perpetuates. There are so many other things that I didn’t share or forgot to share regarding my opinion on pornography but, as I mentioned in the previous episode, I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. Rather, I want to introduce some nuance into the conversation about porn that I see people in my community having. This episode is a continuation of that intention and offers some other perspectives to consider. Again, there are things I missed but will hopefully revisit in episodes to come. Thank you so much for supporting the podcast. I’m excited for another year of amazing guests, thought-provoking conversations and deep learning. This podcast would not be a success without the guests and listening, so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Key Points:
Similarity between video games and pornography
Questioning comparisons
How are people using porn?
Two conversations: Consumers and masturbators
Stop the demand or change the demand?
The problem with how people are masturbating
Mindfully using porn as a tool
Becoming reliant on porn for arousal
The 20% rule
Continuing conversations and thank you
